About Us

Noteworthy was formed with the merger of two fantastic groups, Tongue n Groove and Mood Swing. These groups have been singing for some time. They have performed all over Melbourne and across the state of Victoria. Whether it was for weddings, corporate events, festivals or private functions, their tight harmonies and stage presence brought great delight.

The merger means that Noteworthy has been forged on solid foundations and we will continue the great legacy that both groups created. When it comes to energy, entertainment and fantastic singing, Noteworthy is hard to beat. Our repertoire is wide and varied. It includes everything from gospel and classical, to pop and soul. Jazz and African to show tunes and contemporary Australian artists.

The heart is a fragile thing.

It takes very little to break and so much attention to repair. Music has often been used to sooth the soul and express great pain.

Join us as we perform some songs of Love and Despair.

Songs that will have your heart aching, your soul torn asunder, and then let us repair it with songs of love, belonging and intimacy.

Noteworthy is an A Capella Choir who have performed all over Melbourne at festivals, corporate events, weddings and now, heart breakingly, we will be performing for you.

About Lisa

Our Musical Director, Lisa Schwabe, is a singer, arranger and saxophonist. Originally from New Zealand where she studied performance music at Wellington Polytechnic and toured NZ with various bands, she has gone on to bigger and better things. After moving to Melbourne she became involved in community singing. Lisa has lead a number of community and workplace choirs and is currently a Lead Teacher in the Music Performance Department at Melbourne Polytechnic.
